“Kinaiya” is the Cebuano term for “inner character and being”. The students of the Humanities and Social Sciences strand wish to serve as a catalyst for change as we allow others to realize the beauty of individuality and empower others to embrace and similarly uplift the people in society. The purpose of this publication is to showcase the unique and individual traits of the HUMSS strand through the intermingling of art and literature. This project aims to establish a legacy and to spark inspiration for others while highlighting the beauty of the strand with the various skills and values inherent to our Filipino culture. “Kinaiya” will serve as a fundraising project in partnership with a beneficiary (One La Salle Fund), who is currently seeking to uplift students that are most affected by the pandemic.
